Move aside Aamir and Shahrukh, six-pack abs are passé, for Shahid Kapoor is busy flaunting his eight-pack abs in his forthcoming film Chance Pe Dance.
Shahid has trainer Abbas Ali to thank for his new sculpted body. Abbas reveals that, "After 'Kaminey' we had only two months in hand to change his complete look. It's Shahid's sheer hard work, dedication and consistency that transformed him from what he used to look a couple of years ago to his present look."
Besides training five days a week, Shahid followed a strict dietary regimen. "Shahid is a vegetarian and he doesn't even takes egg so first class protein, which is required to build lean muscle, was not there. White carbohydrate was removed from his diet, like white potatoes and pasta. We added brown carbohydrate like brown rice, sweet potato, oats instead.", says Abbas.
And what was the motivation for this lean look, apparently Shahid wanted to ensure that he was both dancing and looking his best for the performances in the movie. Says Abbas, “Shahid told me that dancers are coming from abroad and he wants to look like god and move like god.”
‘Chance Pe Dance’ is directed by Ken Ghosh, who previously gave Shahid his break in Ishq Vishk. In the movie Shahid plays a struggling actor opposite Genelia D'Souza. The movie is expected to arrive in theatres near you on Jan 15th.

Trisha is back with the unit of Priyadarshan's Khatta Meeta, near Pune. She is loving every minute of the shoot, especially the three days her mother Uma visited her on the sets.

'It is an new experience for me because Akki [Akshay Kumar] andPriyan [director Priyadarshan] have gone out of their way to make uscomfortable, and the shoot is progressing fast,' said Trisha.'Currently, the actress has completed Gautham Menon's Vinnai Thandi Varuvaya with Silambarassan and Namo Venkatesa in Telugu with Venkatesh.
'I had a genuine date problem doing Vrindavanam with NTR,' said Trisha.'Now my priority is to complete Khatta Meeta in the next few months, and then take a call on my future moves. But I will still continue to be a part of South cinema.'
